This lesson focuses on developing a Baidu Cloud client for Windows Phone 8. Windows Phone 8, an operating system by Microsoft, integrates Xbox Live games, Xbox Music, and a unique video experience into mobile devices. Released in 2012, it features the Windows NT kernel, shared with Windows 8. While Windows Phone 7.5 users could upgrade to Windows Phone 7.8, Windows Phone 8 is not backward compatible.
